for its bricks, the town has a range of facilities including
a theatre complex.
A market
is held Wednesday and Saturday, and there are two shopping
malls.
A good
base to explore the South Downs. Tourist Information Centre
in the town.
Plumpton
racecourse is a few miles to the east.
