Worthing

| Worthing,
a peaceful coastal holiday resort town, less built up than Brighton
further along the coast.
It grew with the patronage
of George III in around 1760, his family's visits made the
town popular.
The 18th century terraces
of houses remain, and the town has a pier and a pebble beach.
There are two theatres.
